R.I.P. RONNIE JAMES DIO POST 2

I would just like to take this time to address my feelings on the passing of Ronnie James Dio. I am heart broken over his passing. For a long time Ronnie has been my hero. I always have had a great deal of respect and admiration towards him. Not only was Ronnie an incredible singer but an incredible human being. I had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie back in August of 2009. Right towards the end of the 2009 Heaven And Hell Tour. I was thrilled when I got to the venue and found out I had the backstage passes. I went to the show with my grandmother also a big fan of Ronnie's music. That night heaven and hell gave an amazing performance as they always did. This was to be my third time seeing them. As the show ended I was eagerly awaiting going backstage to meet Ronnie and the band. As we approached the backstage area I was nervous and excited at the same time. My grandmother and I ended up being the first people to enter the area. My Grandmother went first. After she spoke to Ronnie she turned to him and said can i have a hug. Then what happened next blew me away. Ronnie stood up and gave her a big hug. I was so impressed by this. That he was so kind to her. Then it was my turn to meet Ronnie. I walked over to the table very nervously. I went up to him shook his hand and said Hello very nice to meet you Ronnie. I then handed him a copy of my Dream Evil cd. What happened next is hysterically funny in my eyes. What happened was I had grabbed the cd out of the car because I needed to give him something to sign in case we went backstage. I failed to notice in all the excitement that the cd case was cracked up. When Ronnie went to open the cd to take the booklet out to sign. The cd went flying across the table LOL ! It's making me smile now just thinking about it. As soon as that happened I was ready to faint at the embarrassment of the moment. He just smiled picked up the cd put it back in the case and signed the booklet. In the heat of the moment I failed to tell him my name so Ronnie then asked me what's your name ? I said oh sorry it's Alex. I then started rambling about how I had joined the fan club and was so excited I was standing in front of him. I had waited for this moment for a long time. Then my Grandmother told him what a dedicated and devoted fan I was. How a day didn't go by without Ronnie's music being played. He turned to me and said Alex your'e a true fan. I will never forget that for as long as I live. It meant so much to me coming from Ronnie. I did however kick myself later on for forgetting to ask for a photo. I regret it still but regardless I feel fortunate enough to have had the wonderful experience of being in his company. It is something I will always cherish. Ronnie has been a huge impact on me and my life. By being a fan of his I met many other great Dio fans on you tube. Who I share a connection with and people I have something in common with. One of the greatest things Ronnie did for me was leading me to creating an online radio show. I decided one day that I wanted to dedicate a show to him. So I recruited my friend from You tube Claire to co host it with me and now the show still continues. I will always be grateful to Ronnie for helping me through difficult times in my life. As I sit here today typing this blog mourning the loss of my hero. I am thankful that he is no longer in pain or suffering. As much as it hurts that Ronnie is no longer here among us. It would have hurt even worse to watch him suffer. Ronnie rest in peace I will never forget you for as long as I live. I hope we will meet again one day Love always , Alex. /,,/ /,,/

RONNIE JAMES DIO AND HIS HEALTH STATUS

Hello everyone It has been awhile since I have made a blog post so i Thought I would bring something up. As of recent news has surfaced that Ronnie is planning on being done with the chemo next month. First off I think that is fantastic. We have all been pulling for him and have wanted him to get better. However , According to a couple of good sources I have spoken to , Ronnie has been cleared by doctors to tour again once the chemo is completed. I have to disagree with this decision. In my honest opinion It is just to soon to start touring again. They have already begun booking tour dates. I think that given the past 6 months I think Ronnie just needs to take it easy. Now don;t get me wrong I would love to see Ronnie back out on stage. Having seen him live three times and having met him I know the feeling. But , for me the most important thing is to see him well again. Touring just doesn't sound like a great idea right now. Now bare in mind that this is just my opinion. Another thing that should be taken into consideration is that he had 2 blod clots within a one month period. Those weren't just hiccups as Wendy Dio Ronnie's manager put it in her February update. I think he needs to take some time to rest and recover. Believe me we all know how much Ronnie loves the stage. He also can't stand not working. I'm sure these past six months have been hard for him. Which is why he is in a rush to return to the stage. I understand that and would love to see it myself but in my opinion this just shouldn't be in the cards right now. Well thats about all I have to say about this blog post. I am sorry I haven't been frequent with my posts lately. I have been busy between hosting my 2 internet radio shows and other things. I will try to get another post up soon , Alex.

Here is the latest update from Wendy Dio: "Ronnie has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. We are starting treatment immediately at the Mayo Clinic. After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans. Thanks to all the friends and fans around the world that have sent well wishes. This has really helped to keep his spirit up. Long Live Rock and Roll, Long Live Ronnie James Dio"

HI , Everyone I know it's been awhile since i made a post i kind of forgot about this blog but i came across it again and decided to make a post. I wanted to address the issue of the ozzy fanatics who keep causing bullshit over at you tube. They seem to be multiplying lately and iv'e been in several vrbal fights over the past couple of months. I don't know what the hell there problems are but i had to ban comments on one of my most viewed vids sweet leaf live with dio in london 81'. I felt i had no further choice because it was getting out of control and quite frankly i got sick of dealing with these retarded people who wouldn't know good music if it bit them on the ass. In my opinion ozzy is washed up and isn't doing anything. The most recent iv'e seen him is doing a gps commercial that directs him to the toilet. Which is exactly where his career has gone in my opinion. For him to have the nerve to sue Tony Iommi for royalties that he doesnt own plus the fact that he didnt contribute in any song writing in the original black sabbath is sick. Of course we all know that Sharon Osbourne probably had alot to do with this latest scheme. Either way i'm sick of the ozzy fan base shitting on the dio fanbase when ozzy is washed up. Ronnie is 67 years old and still out there rockin' writing new music and everything. Everybody needs to shut their damn mouths and just enjoy the music i think the saying should stay true if you cant say anything good then just dont say anything at all. If you don't like dio then don't watch dio vids and make bad comments about it. I can't tell you how many times i have emphasized this point and it probably won't be the last. OZZY OSBOURNE TO SUE TONY IOMMI

Ok this is pure bullshit right here ! Ozzy Osbourne filed a lawsuit against Tony Iommi today for the sabbath name ownership. So here we are again back to this bullshit. My opinion on this matter is that Ozzy is a washed up sellout who can no longer deliver. He has been done for years and now i see him in cell phone and world of warcraft commercials. Ozzy has gotten by his entire career by letting other people do his work for him. He fucked over Bob Daisley on the song writing credits on Blizzard of Ozz and had the bass re recorded in the studio by Robert Trujillo. He was once good but no longer. Tony deserves the name as he was the only member of Sabbath who has never left the group. I firmly believe that this is another scheme thrown together by Sharon and Ozzy. The two of them just can't accept the fact that Sabbath is doing well With Ronnie. They figure oh well lets earn some extra money by suing Tony for touring with Ronnie instead of Ozzy. I don't see what the hell their problems are because they are not even touring under the sabbath moniker. Sharon is a BITCH and Ozzy is now a sellout who couldn't carry a tune if you handed him a suitcase with a radio in it. I respect the early sabbath music and enjoy it but the fact remains that Ronnie is a true musician and collabarator while Ozzy is not anyone with half of a brain knows it.
